BASEBALL PLAYERS (AGES 10-13) AND EXTRAS NEEDED FOR A MOVIE BEING FILMED IN AND AROUND BREWSTER, NY

What: The feature film “TWELVE” needs approximately 100 youth baseball players for various scenes throughout the movie. Family, friends, and relatives of the players are also needed as extras.
Who are we looking for: Players ages 10-13 of all skill levels as well as size, shape, ethnicity, are needed. If you’ve ever stepped onto a baseball field before, you’re qualified for the film.

When: Filming is planned to take place between July 24, 2017 and August 15, 2017. Most players/extras will only need to participate in ONE DAY of filming. About 40 players will be selected for 3-4 days of shooting – mostly 12 and 13 year-olds.

Where: Filming will take place primarily in the Brewster, NY area. Other locations in Putnam or Dutchess County may be used depending on field availability and suitability.

How to participate: Fill out the form and email it to twelvemovie12@gmail.com. Please include a photo of the player, in uniform if possible. Email the form BEFORE June 24, 2017.

Auditions will take place on Sunday JUNE 25, 2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Mt. Scolpino Park. 115 Doansburg Road, Brewster NY 10509.
This will be a very informal session to group the children by age and skill level. Some baseball drills may be done for some players. PLEASE BRING YOUR BAT AND GLOVE.

Other information:
Of critical importance: In order to maintain “continuity” in the film, any player or extra selected for multiple days must be available and arrive on time each day.
There will be a handful of speaking roles available (just a line or two). If a player is interested in a speaking role, please indicate so on the following form.
All roles are unpaid. Food and drinks will be provided.
SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! Any players acting in an unsafe manner will be removed from the set. We cannot take any chances with the bats/balls.
