We remind you that throughout the construction process, the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Below is a list of some general construction safety measures that we will be following:

● All construction sites will be barricaded, fenced, and secured from unauthorized access.
● Noise levels will be monitored electronically to reduce any negative impact on student learning.

● Two construction managers will be on-site full-time and available to resolve any issues that may arise.

● All construction workers will be clearly identified by ID badges and uniforms, continuously supervised by the construction managers, and instructed not to interact with students and staff.

We will be providing timely updates on our website www.brewsterschools.org under the Facilities tab. Please note that this information is only current as of the date it is written. And with all construction projects, no matter how small or large, there may be a need to make changes along the way if necessary. To that end, timelines are likely to change throughout the process. Please continue to check the District’s website for the latest update.

We wish you a happy and safe summer and look forward to opening the 2017-18 school year with significant construction progress.

Warm regards,

Victor J. Karlsson
