Do You Really Need to Take the SAT/ACT?

Check out www.fairtest.org! Under the words “College Admissions” on their menu, there is a Test Optional Tab in the dropdown menu. Click on those words, and you will find a list of 950 colleges and universities that do not use ACT/SAT scores as part of the admissions process. This list is current, and new colleges are added regularly.

Find at least two schools that you would like to attend. Realizing that you don’t need to obtain a superior SAT or ACT score to be accepted at a college makes every student smile. Knowing that the SAT/ACT are not needed for some schools, reduces test pressure, which permits a test-taker to feel calmer during the exam and obtain a higher score. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact EA Test Prep at 845-582- 0017 or eatestprep@gmail.com
