The 26th annual Founders Day was this past Sunday in the village of Brewster from 10am-4pm. This was a day of celebration with over 120 vendors from Brewster Village

All residents who came out had a great day of fun and excitement. “It feels like summer outside so the weather is beautiful and the fair is fantastic,” says resident Elizabeth Shaw.  They had vendors of every kind, from the “Meat’s Meat” food truck to a dunk tank where you could dunk your friends and family and. The fair also had non-for-profit organizations like “Julie's cause”, a charity who provide ¨...support and educated” for those affected by cervical cancer. As you walked down the road passing each vendor you were greeted by dozens of friendly face making the event relaxed and a day to let go of stress and just have fun. This event brought the community together to celebrate the founding of Brewster back in 1894. “This was a community event that brings folks from the surrounding area to the Village of Brewster- and, that’s always a good thing!” says event coordinator Laurie Manning.

Special thanks to the Founders Day planning committee.
