Metro North Announces New Timetables, Effective October 8, 2017

New timetables, effective Sunday, October 8, feature adjustments that restore service while allowing critical infrastructure work that improves the safety and reliability of your commute to continue.

Changes to look for include:

On the Hudson Line, four AM peak trains departing Croton-Harmon (5:15 AM, 5:40 AM, 6:37 AM and 8:12 AM) will operate 1 minute earlier from Croton-Harmon through Hastings-on-Hudson. (Please note these amended times reflecting earlier departures from a prior notice).

In the PM peak, the 6:59 PM and 7:21 PM trains from Grand Central revert to their normal schedules, with the 6:59 PM departing the Terminal at 6:55 PM, 4 minutes earlier, and the 7:21 PM stopping 4 minutes earlier at stations from Croton-Harmon through Poughkeepsie.

On the Harlem Line

AM and PM peak service returns to pre-June 4 schedules thanks to the completion of a comprehensive track improvement program between Mount Vernon West and Crestwood. Eight midday trains towards White Plains and Southeast will depart Grand Central 3 minutes earlier.

On the New Haven Line

Sixteen New Haven-bound trains operating between 7:30 AM and 3:05 PM have their schedules adjusted by 1-3 minutes. See full details for all lines at http://web.mta.info/mnr/html/oct8_seatnotice.html

New timetables will be available in Grand Central, at outlying stations, at www.mta.info/mnr and via our Metro-North Train Time app for iPhone or Android

Metro-North will operate a regular weekday schedule on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9. See schedules at  http://ow.ly/xo5Q30fFcrj
