The SUNY New Paltz Division of Engineering Programs Senior Design EXPO will take place on Dec. 8.

Engineering students presenting their thesis work include:

Garrett Noach of Brewster, N.Y.

Julian Chipkin of Brewster, New York

Bryan Darcy of Patterson, N.Y.

This event has become a tradition on the New Paltz campus, as a way to showcase the portfolio of students' Senior Design projects in Electrical, Computer and Mechanical Engineering.

Each semester, students and faculty collaborate on engineering projects in pursuit of an innovative design with real-world applications.

The EXPO will take place on Dec. 8 on the 2nd Floor Foyer in Wooster Hall at 3 p.m. It is open to the public and will be judged by a panel of engineering professionals and alumni. Sponsors include MPI-Sytems, NanoNoggin, JBT, Global Foundries and Central Hudson.
