Serious Jazz Sunday Series: Arts on the Lake Jazz Ensemble

The final event in this current series of 3 performances, arranger, composer and trumpeter Tim Ouimette leads the Arts on the Lake Jazz Ensemble in a swinging exploration of the music of the Great American Songbook. The Ensemble consists of consummate jazz musicians who have played with: Harry James, Joe Cocker, Lou Rawls, Eubie Blake, Gregory Hines, Ray Charles, Blood Sweat and Tears, Bill Frisell, Count Basie, and Iggy Pop.
As part of Arts on the Lake's educational outreach, the Ensemble will be followed by The Fox Lane High School Jazz Quartet who recently took 2nd place in their competition category at the 48th Annual Berklee College of Music High School Jazz Festival.
They will play from 3:30 to 4:30 closely following the ensemble. Ticket prices are for both performances.
