Summer Fun-O-Lympics at the Kent Library

 Come see how you do in the outdoor Kent Public Library's Fun-O-Lympics!  Come to the library for a fun competition on Wednesday, July 6th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.  From jumping rope, to a ball toss, hula hoops, ring toss, a pancake race, crafts and so much more! No registration is required, all ages are welcome!

 

Summer Bilingual Storytime at Kent Library

Come to the Kent Public Library on Wednesdays, July 6th-August 3rd from 1230-1:15 for our summer session of our Bilingual Storytime. Listen to stories in English and Spanish, sing songs and make a craft project! Children are invited to stay for a free bag lunch after the program.   This storytime  is open to all ages. Registration is required.  

 

Summer Session of Reading Buddies at the Kent Library

Children  in the 1st through 4th grade are invited to  participate in Kent Public Library's summer session of Reading Buddies. Running  daily from July 6th to August 18th,  Reading Buddies is a program that pairs teen volunteers  with students in grades 1st through 4 grade. Reading Buddy applications are available at the Library.  This is a wonderful way to encourage young children to read, and to improve their reading skills.  Contact Rebecca Newman, the Children's Librarian, at 845-855-5747, for more information.
