This safety program will be presented by certified New York State 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors and will include:
- What to do if there is a gun around
- What to do about a gun at a friend’s house
- An open discussion Q&A about firearm safety
- Basic firearm safety instruction and videos
- An opportunity for adults to ask questions about firearms’ storage requirements and the SAFE Act
Note: There will be no use or handling of firearms. Participants will be in age appropriate discussion groups.
