Coming soon to Arts on the Lake
Start in on the holidays by swinging to the music of the Arts on the Lake Jazz Ensemble. Led by arranger, composer and trumpeter Tim Ouimette, the ensemble consists of consummate jazz musicians who have played with: Harry James, Joe Cocker, Lou Rawls, Eubie Blake, Gregory Hines, Ray Charles, Blood Sweat and Tears, Bill Frisell, Count Basie, and Iggy Pop.

Seasonal favorites with a distinctive flair will highlight the evening including, One Too Many Jingle Bells, We Three Kings, Santa Be Mine and Auld Lang Syne. Tickets for this holiday event are $10 for General Admission and $8 for Members of Arts on the Lake.

Current Band Members (with some examples of who they have played with) include:
Tim Ouimette - Trumpet, Music Director
Ouimette has worked with Ray Charles, Keith Richards, Count Basie, Ray Barretto and Iggy Pop.

Ken Gioffre - Tenor Sax
Gioffre has played and toured with Smokey Robinson and Blood Sweat and Tears.

Rick Kriska - Alto Sax
Kriska has played Broadway shows and national acts including Artie Shaw and Ashford and Simpson.

Jim West - Piano
Has played with Todd Isler, Peter Calo, Leo Traversa and Erik Lawrence.

Jon Burr - Bass
Jon Burr has toured and recorded with many great jazz masters, including Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Horace Silver, Hank Jones, Art Farmer, and Stephane Grappelli. He’s active as a composer, arranger and producer.

Nadav Snir - Drums
An accomplished drummer in many styles, Nadav has been co-leading the Israeli ensemble “Trio Shalva,” devoted to exploring Jazz and traditional music of the Mediterranean.

Dale Demarco - Tenor Sax
Has played with Barry Bryson, Peter Ecklund, Ken Foy, Paul Duffy and Peter Tomlinson

Doug Munro - Guitar - Two time Grammy nominee, Munro has played with Dr. John, Michael Brecker, and Dr. Lonnie Smith.

Ed Xiques - Baritone Sax
Xiques has worked with Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra.
