Hudson Valley VegFest Food, Fitness and Fun

HUDSON VALLEY VEGFEST is a major expo and showcase devoted to Vegan Living. Hudson Valley Vegfest, LLC has created an incredible weekend festival for everyone who attends this event on September 23rd & 24th at Gold’s Gym in Poughkeepsie. The already-vegan as well as the "veg-curious" will have the opportunity to hear world-renowned speakers on two stages over the course of this jam-packed two-day event.  Food and fitness demos will educate and entertain along with music, film and art reflecting the vibrant vegan lifestyle. And the FOOD: amazing plant-based culinary offerings too numerous to mention (including an incredible selection of ethical chocolate vendors!)

Vegans take environmentalism and sustainability seriously (in adopting this lifestyle, one's carbon footprint is vastly reduced) and as such, the festival is walking the walk.  Hudson Valley Vegfest is proud to be a ZERO WASTE event.  We are partnering with Zero to Go, an education-based waste management company focused on composting and recycling.  At various staffed stations set up around the venue, attendees will be able to learn about composting, recycling and environmentally sound waste management as every bit of waste generated is properly sorted.

Additions to the presentation line-up include the incredible NALIAKA WAKHISI doing a cooking demonstration, as well as a screening of the astonishing film, WHAT THE HEALTH (2017, A.U.M. Films, the company that created the ground-breaking film, COWSPIRACY). See the Speakers and Presentations page on our website for more details. The latest vendor additions include the sought-after vegan food company Freakin' Vegan, incredible chocolates from local & renowned chocolatier Lagusta's Luscious, Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary, and so many more! List is being updated daily at the festival website.

Mother Earth's Storehouse and Califia Farms are our two newest sponsors, joining Adams Fairacre Farms, WDST Radio Woodstock 100.1, THRIVE Magazine, Happy Cow, Health & Nutrition Center in New Paltz, The Poughkeepsie Journal, Sula NYC and Whitecliff Vineyards!
