Arts on the Lake is pleased to announce that the Feehan Insurance Agency is supporting the Feehan Serious Jazz Sundays music series. Opening the series is The Saints of Swing with noted vocalist, Rene Bailey.
The Saints of Swing members are jazz professionals who have played with many noted musicians. David Winograd leads the group on bass and tuba, Dale Demarco on sax and clarinet; Barry Bryson, on trumpet; Ken Foy on trombone; Peter Tomlinson on piano; and Larry Balestra, on drums.
Ms. Baily’s grew up in Georgia and sang Gospel music as a teen. Moving north to Connecticut she has sung jazz, blues and gospel in the NYC area for many years. He career has included performing with such noted musicians as Louis Armstrong, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Dave Brubeck, Ruth Brown, and Paul Anka.
Champagne, coffee, light refreshments, and pastries will be offered.
