Live Music @ Mothership On Main

On Thursday, October 26th from 7-8:30p, come down to Mothership on Main located at 331 Main Street in Danbury, Connecticut 06810 for live music presented by Danbury resident and cellist Sasha Ono and Adrianne Munden-Dixon. The string duo will be bringing exciting music from classical to pop while you sit and enjoy Mothership Bakery's signature delicious food and drinks. 

 

Sasha Ono is a freelance cellist in NY and CT, known for her powerfully driven sound paired with emotional intensity and sensitivity. She has performed at traditional venues such as Avery Fischer (David Geffen) Hall, Madison Sq Garden, and Rockwood Music Hall as well as bringing music to untraditional locations. In 2017, she has appeared regularly with the Little Kruta Orchestra and is beginning a new collaboration with organist Anthony Rispo. Through her work as a chamber musician, Sasha will be starting an informal chamber music series in the local area, bringing rising young artists together for interactive, lively performances. As an educator, Sasha directs three orchestras in the Brewster Central School District. 

Adrianne Munden-Dixon is a NYC-based violinist praised for her “animated and driven” performances (Connect Savannah). She is a current member of the Savannah Philharmonic, Desdemona Quartet, Schiele, New York Virtuosi, and Aeon Music Ensemble. She has appeared as a chamber musician at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Spectrum, Mannes, Cornelia Street Café, and Aspen Chapel as a student at the Aspen Music Festival where she spent three summers. Adrianne is a dedicated supporter of new music and working with living composers. Adrianne is a faculty member at Larchmont Music Academy and has led masterclasses at Savannah Arts Academy.
