In an age of texting and keyboarding, using dip pens and ink to create beautiful, imaginative, whimsical and creative letters by hand may seem out of date – not so - rather, it is timeless. Calligraphy is a meditative art form. In the end there is achievement and beauty and creativity.

LATE FALL CLASS OFFERINGS

DATES: Saturdays, October 28, November 4, 11, 18, December 2 and 9th.
In case of weather cancellation, a make up class will be held on December 16th.

Pure & Simple ~ Penmanship

Beginner to Intermediate
Six, one hour classes from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. $100

This course is based on American Cursive, a standard style of Penmanship, developed by Michael Sull, a Master Penman. Those who have never had Penmanship and those who would like to improve their handwriting will learn and improve their handwriting in this class.

Copperplate & Other Pointed Pen Styles

Beginner to Intermediate
Six, two hour classes from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. $180

Using a pointed pen and dip inks and paints, pointed pen scripts are suitable for all calligraphic applications. The pointed pen styles are very popular for weddings, all formal events, and correspondence and creating pieces of calligraphy for framing.
