High School Teens NEEDED to Make a Difference – BE a LEADER

Serve on the 2018 Putnam County Youth Forum Planning Committee

Putnam Youth Grades 9-12

The Putnam County Youth Forum is a day-long teen focused forum – with a variety of workshops to select on topics such as bullying, preparing for college, relationships, time & stress management and teen addictions.

The 2018 Putnam County Youth Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Clearpool Education Center.

 

Participating High Schools include:

·        Brewster

·        Carmel

·        Haldane

·        Mahopac

·        Putnam Valley

 Participating schools provide transportation to and from Clearpool for their Registered Students.

We are currently looking for High School Teens from each of the above participating schools  – to represent their peers– by serving on the Youth Forum Planning Committee (informational flyer attached).

Planning Committee Members identify the workshops their peers would be most interested in, help find workshop facilitators, assist in designing flyers and posters and help run the event the day of.

 The Planning Committee will begin meeting in mid-January, on Tuesday evenings (6:30-8pm), and will meeting regularly until early April 2018.   

The 1st Meeting is TUESDAY, January 16th  .   Meetings will take in Brewster, NY – near the Dept. of Motor Vehicles
