MEMORIAL DAY, it is not about the start of summer, a three day weekend nor opening the pool. It is about honoring the memory of those men and women who have laid down their lives to win, defend and preserve our freedom. Enjoy the weekend. Open the pool. Have a cookout with family and friends. But remember why you are able to enjoy these things. Take time to attend a ceremony or parade and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifce for each and everyone of us.
