2017 Election Results some Relying on Absentee Ballots

Although all results are unofficial, we can report the following:

  • Proposal 1: Constitutional Convention — REJECTED by 77% of voters
  • Proposal 2: Forfeit felonious official's pension — APPROVED by 66% of voters
  • Proposal 3: Allow some uses in forest preserve land — APPROVED by 43.38% of voters with 42.89% against.

As previously reported, the Brewster Library Expansion passed.

State Supreme Court Justice for the 9th Judicial District: Linda M. Murray 51.64% 

SHERIFF: Robert L. Langley 49.72%

Southeast:

SOUTHEAST TOWN JUSTICE (Vote for 2) Gregory L. Folchetti 50.44% and Richard W. Vercollone  48.97%

SOUTHEAST COUNCILMAN (Vote for 2) - It is a tight race with Hudak and Lord in the lead, however, absentee ballots still need to be tallied. The votes to date are as follows:

  • Elizabeth D. Hudak 26.71%
  • John Lord 24.64%
  • Robert S. Cullen 24.63%
  • Melinda C. Montanaro 24.01%

Brewster (all unopposed):

BREWSTER MAYOR: James J. Schoenig  99.17%

BREWSTER VILLAGE JUSTICE:  Richard L. O'Rourke 98.58%

BREWSTER VILLAGE TRUSTEE (Vote for 2): Christine M. Piccini 47.28% and  George J. Gaspar  48.54%

Patterson:

PATTERSON RECEIVER OF TAXES: Mary L. Delanoy 99.58%

PATTERSON COUNCILMAN (Vote for 2)

  • Peter J. Dandreano  44.96%
  • Mary E. Smith 40.38%

PATTERSON TOWN JUSTICE: Michael V. Caruso 50.63%
