Local Teen Charged with Terrorist Threat at Boces

Police say two students have been charged with making terroristic threats against a Yorktown BOCES school.

According to Yorktown Police, 16-year-old Dylan Carbone, of Brewster, and 16-year-old Cameron Callahan-Monroe, of Poughkeepsie, were arrested for allegedly making statements about  bringing a gun to "shoot up" the BOCES Fox Meadow School on October 14th. They were charged with making a terroristic threat, a Class D felony.

Carbone turned himself into police on Saturday, Oct. 15. He was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

Callahan-Monroe turned himself into police on Thursday, Oct. 20. He was arraigned in the Yorktown Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 15.
