I84 has one lane open for travel. Use caution when driving through this area as crews continue to remove the tractor trailer from the side of the roadway.
NYS Police urge motorists to avoid unnecessary travel during winter storm
On February 10, 2017 at approximately 3:30 a.m., New York State Police from East Fishkill were dispatched to Interstate 84 westbound to investigate a collision involving two tractor trailers.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a tandem tractor trailer rear-ended another tractor trailer in the westbound lanes between exits 15 and 16. Minor injuries were reported to police.
Westbound lanes of the interstate were closed and traffic was diverted at Exit 17 on to Route 52.
