18 impaired drivers removed from the roadways resulting in DWI Arrests

In an effort to remove intoxicated and impaired drivers from the roadways throughout Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties, the New York State Police from Troop K made the following DWI arrests between Friday, June 2, 2017 and Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Brewster/Southeast:

On June 2, 2017, New York State Troopers from Brewster arrested 21-year-old Alexander Alexandrov of Southeast, NY, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Subsequent to a crash investigation conducted on Seven Oaks Lane, Alexandrov was found to be intoxicated. The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Southeast Court on June 15, 2017.

On June 2, 2017, State Police from Brewster charged Alam J. Gosney-Pink, 55 years old, of Southeast, NY, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, a Class E Felony.  Troopers stopped the vehicle Gosney-Pink was operating on Route 22 for failing to maintain her designated lane of travel.  Gosney-Pink was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop and was operated the vehicle with her 15-year-old daughter as a passenger. The Defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .10% and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Southeast Court on June 20, 2017.

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested 30-year-old Austin Chin-Lituma, of Danbury, CT, for DWI, a Misdemeanor.  Lituma was charged with DWI following a traffic stop conducted on Route 6 for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Lituma provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .12% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Southeast Court on June 20, 2017.

On June 4, 2017, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested 24-year-old Anyerki Henriquez-Martinez, of Danbury, CT, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers stopped Henriquez-Martinez on Danbury Road for moving from his lane of travel unsafely.  The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .13% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Southeast Court on June 20, 2017.

On June 2, 2017, New York State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Cequan B. Kimble, 29 years old, of Beacon, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Kimble was stopped by police on Route 44 and found to be intoxicated.  He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on June 8, 2017.

On June 2, 2017, State Police from the Somers barracks arrested 19-year-old Abel A. Torres of Danbury, Connecticut, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Torres was arrested for DWI following a one-car auto collision that occurred on Interstate 684. The defendant was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Bedford Court at a later date and time.  

On June 2, 2017, State Police from Wappinger charged Millad Moshref, 23 years old, of Beacon, NY, with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers stopped the vehicle Moshref was operating on Route 9D for speeding.  Moshref was found to be intoxicated at the time of the stop. The Defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .14% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Fishkill Court on June 6, 2017.

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested 20-year-old Stephen C. Dachs of Red Hook, New York, for DWI, a Misdemeanor.  Dachs was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop conducted on County Route 15.  The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .13% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Taghkanic Court on June 15, 2017. 

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from Stormville charged 24-year-old William E. Ray of East Fishkill, NY, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Subsequent to a crash investigation conducted on a ramp of the Taconic State Parkway, Ray was found to be intoxicated.  The defendant supplied police with a breath sample yielding a Blood Alcohol Content of .22% and was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of East Fishkill Court on June 28, 2017.  
 
On June 3, 2017, the New York State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Michael Szabo, age 25, of Monroe, CT, for DWI, a Misdemeanor.  Trooper stopped Szabo on Albany Post Road for speeding. An investigation revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.  The defendant supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .11% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Hyde Park Justice Court on July 6, 2017. 

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from East Fishkill charged Amir Kirkland, 26 years old, of Danbury, CT, with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers stopped Kirkland on Route 6 for failing to dim his high beams to oncoming traffic. A subsequent investigation revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop.  Kirkland provided a breath sample revealing a BAC of .14% and is due to appear in the Southeast Court on June 15, 2017.

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Terence J. Clavin, age 21, of Beekman, New York, for DWI, a Misdemeanor.  Clavin was stopped by police on Manchester Road for speeding.  A subsequent investigation revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the stop. The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .14% and was directed to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on June 13, 2017. 

On June 3, 2017, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested 37-year-old Robert D. Race, of Hopewell, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated.  Race was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop conducted on Lake Walton Road. The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .17%.  Race was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of East Fishkill Court on June 14, 2017.
 
On June 3, 2017, State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested 29-year-old Nicholas Trulsson, of Hyde Park, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers arrested Trulsson following a traffic stop conducted on Saint Andrews Road. The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .09%.  He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Hyde Park Court on July 6, 2017. 

On June 4, 2017, New York State Police from Wappinger charged 23-year-old Adrienne E. Deleo of Fishkill, NY, with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Subsequent to a traffic stop conducted on Church Street in the Village of Fishkill for failing to signal, Deleo was found to be intoxicated.  The defendant provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .09% and was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Village of Fishkill Court on June 19, 2017.

On June 4, 2017, New York State Police from Poughkeepsie charged Robert Bertram, 37 years old, of Chester, NY, with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers stopped Bertram on Route 44 for Speeding. The defendant provided a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .08% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on June 27, 2017.

On June 4, 2017, State Police from Cortlandt arrested 63-year-old Ernest Damaso, of Yorktown, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.  Troopers arrested Damaso following a traffic stop conducted on Route 6. The defendant was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Yorktown Court on June 22, 2017. 
 
On June 4, 2017, State Police from Poughkeepsie charged Jessica Bruce, 28 years old, of College Park, Georgia, with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, both Misdemeanors.  Troopers stopped Bruce on Route 44 for an equipment violation.  An investigation revealed that Bruce possessed methamphetamine and was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs.  The defendant was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail. 
  
Intoxicated and impaired drivers put others at risk.  It is a priority of the State Police to keep impaired drivers off of our roadways so law-abiding citizens can safely travel throughout our four county patrol area.
