Connecticut woman charged with felony drug possession

On September 8, 2017, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested 34-year-old Jennifer K. Satallante of Brookfield, Connecticut, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Class C Felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers stopped Satallante on Interstate 84 for moving from her lane of travel unsafely.  While conducting an interview of Satallante, Troopers detected an odor of marihuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed that Satallante possessed approximately 3.95 grams of marihuana and three paper tabs of LSD.

Satallante was arraigned in the Town of Southeast Justice Court by the Honorable Folchetti and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  The defendant is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Southeast Court on October 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
