The Watermark at East Hill Announces Southbury Community Events in October

The Watermark at East Hill announced today multiple events and meetings open to the public throughout the month of October.

Discovery Luncheon: Active Aging – Presented by HealthPro, this informative luncheon will focus on active aging and how comprehensive rehab services and education can help improve your overall health and wellness.

  • Thursday, October 12, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Senior Law Day at The Watermark – Looking to learn more about senior legal and health matters for yourself or a family member? The Watermark at East Hill will host a Senior Law Day featuring speakers on elder law, VA benefits, estate planning, Medicare and more.

  • Tuesday, October 17, 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Caregiver Support Group – Family and friends of those living with Alzheimer’s are encouraged to attend for up-to-date research and information on the disease, treatment and maintaining a healthy balance. Director of Health Services, Denise Julian, will provide information, emotional support and problem-solving tips for caregivers and family members.

  • Wednesday, October 25, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Professional Networking- Show Us What You’ve Got! – Area professionals are invited to join The Watermark for an evening of cocktails, light fare and scavenger hunts. Reveal a listed item from your wallet, purse or pocket and win a prize. 

  • Thursday, October 26, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
