Cast and synopsis

Captain Georg Von Trapp, (played by Tim Peterson, BHS Senior) a wealthy widower, runs his home near Salzburg, Austria like the ship he once commanded. That changes when Maria (Jessica Schwartz, BHS Senior) arrives from the convent to be the new governess of his seven children; Liesl (played by Kelsey Reiff), Louisa: (played by Zoe DiPinto), Friedrich: (played by Caleb Wardenburg), Kurt: (played by Eli Jordan), Brigitta: (played by Katie Yeargin), Marta: (played by Mackenna Mowery), Gretl: (played by Alyssa Jobin). Their outings through the hills inspire all to sing and to find joy in the smallest things through music. Suddenly their world is turned upside down when the 1938 Anschluss of Austria occurs, when Nazi Germany takes control of the country. What happens to Captain Von Trapp, his children and Maria? Come find out.
