What's all the hype about a winter storm?

Snow on Saturday? Snow is on the move from Texas to the Northeast in a winter storm named "Iola". But don't be too alarmed. While portions of Texas picked up over a foot of snow in the past few days, according to Weather.com, we will not see nearly that much here in Connecticut.

As of this afternoon (and of course this prediction can quickly change) there is a 90% chance of precipitation on Saturday. Temps will be in the 30's during the daytime hours so we will likely see a mix of rain and snow. Weather.com predicts accumulations up to 3 inches during the day. Overnight, temperatures will drop but the chance of snow is only 20%.

So there you have it. No need to panic (at least today).
