More Progress at the 4 Corners
  • The Town of Brookfield's plan for pedestrian friendly improvements in the new Town Center District has received approval from the State Department of Transportation. The plan includes modifications to shoulder widths and the addition of sidewalks, crosswalks, streetlamps, and other pedestrian amenities in the right-of-way of State Routes 25 and 202. We have secured $1.3 million in grant funding for the project's first phase.
  • Brookfield Village LLC anticipates approval of their traffic plan during early October. Their project includes the properties at 800-814 Federal Road. Demolition of current buildings could begin in November and there is some chance that the foundation work on four new buildings is possible before winter. These new three-story buildings will have 24,000 sq. ft. of retail and commercial space on the ground floors. Pre-Construction Lease offerings have begun.
