Wooster School Fall Athletes Receive Honors

The fall regional athletic honors have arrived for girls volleyball, boys soccer, cross country, and girls soccer. Congratulations to all of our students on these accomplishments and representing Wooster School at the highest level!

Girls Varsity Volleyball:

Olivia Edelmann '18, Mimi Pelton-McCormick '19, and Brittany Reid '18 were selected to represent Wooster School at the New England Prep School Girls Volleyball Association (NEPSGVA) All-Star game.

Girls Varsity Soccer:

Nicole Caraballo '19 and Morgan McCutcheon '18 were selected as Women's Western New England Prep School Soccer Association (WWNEPSSA) All-Stars. Elizabeth Nicoletti '18 was also nominated but was unable to participate. WWNEPSSA is a 54 team league that represents schools in Western New England and Eastern New York, the largest and longest running prep school soccer association in the country.

Morgan McCutcheon '18 was also selected to play in the New England Prep School Women’s Soccer Association (NEPSWSA) Junior All-Star game that took place on Sunday, November 20 at The Brooks School in North Andover, MA.  

Boys Varsity Soccer:

Alan Jos '19, Sam Cox '17, and Nathaniel Heymann '17 were selected to represent Wooster School at the Western New England Prep School Soccer Association (WNEPSSA) All-Star game.  WNEPSSA is a 54 team league that represents schools in Western New England and Eastern New York, the largest and longest running prep school soccer association in the country.

Nathaniel Heymann '17, Sam Cox '17, and Kern Byrnes '17 were selected to the Western New England Prep School Soccer Association (WNEPSSA) Select Team. Selection to this team is the highest honor bestowed on a player by WNEPSAA. Also receiving commendation was with Alex Foote '17, Alan Jos '19, and Cooper Byrnes '19, who earned Honorable Mention status from WNEPSSA.

Sam Cox ‘17 was also selected to play in the New England Prep School Soccer Association (NEPSSA) Senior All-Star game that took place on Sunday, November 20 at The Brooks School in North Andover, MA.

Additionally, Sam Cox ’17, Nathaniel Heymann '17, and Alan Jos ’19 who were selected to the elite Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association All-State Prep Team.

Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country:

Wooster Varsity Cross Country team participated in the New England Prep School Track Association (NEPSTA) Division IV Cross Country Championships on November 12 at Hyde School in Bath, ME. Trixie Betz ‘17 was the top female runner and Daniel Michael ‘18 was the top male runner, finishing 30th overall. The boys varsity team finished 16th out of 29 teams.

The boys were represented by Eamon Fitzsimons ‘17, Daniel Michael ‘18, Bennett Wattles ‘18, Luke Fink ‘18, Juan Espinoza ‘18 and Alex Wu ‘19. The girls were represented by Trixie Betz ‘17, Caylynn Maldonado ‘18, Lauren Guzzardi ‘19, Julia Bauer ‘19, Marie Klepacz ‘17, Sunni Liu ‘18.
