Daniel C. Levine Brings Broadway to Sea & Earns Magellan Award

Daniel C. Levine’s "Born To Dance", a tribute to Broadway choreography featuring inspired performances that celebrate some of Broadway's most-famous hits, is a winner!

A local resident and Broadway veteran, Levine debuted "Born To Dance" last year exclusively aboard Princess Cruises and has earned the coveted Magellan Award from Travel Weekly Magazine for Entertainment on a Premium Ship Brand. The show currently plays on four Princess Cruise lines vessels, and will continue to do for the next seven years!!

Prior to heading out to sea,  "Born To Dance, created in partnership with Oscar, Grammy, and Tony-Award Winning composer Stephen Schwartz, was performed at The Ridgefield Playhouse as “Dancin’Broadway”. While the show now has a huge budget, complete with all the bells and whistles of a dazzling mega-watt Broadway show, the idea was created right here in Ridgefield!

You can see Levine’s talent come to life on Sunday, October 22 when he brings a brand new show called "American Dance Spectacular"  to The Ridgefield Playhouse with choreography by Al Blackstone (choreographer of “So You Think You Can Dance”).
