Two Meetings on Proposed New Brookfield Library Project this Week!
Meetings This Week Affecting the New Library Project
The Brookfield Board of Finance will meet with the town's financial advisors on Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 pm (Town Hall, room 209) to vote on sending the Library Project to Town Meeting. At that special meeting, there will be public comment. This is an opportunity for residents to make your opinion known to the Board of Finance. Please attend this meeting and let your opinion be known!
The Town Meeting will take place on Thursday, December 21st, 7 PM in the Brookfield High School Auditorium - PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS! We need you at both meetings!
If you can only attend one of these meetings, please come to the Town Meeting on Thursday. Either way, your support needs to be heard. If you cannot attend, please send an email to the Board of Finance before Wednesday to show your support.
We are the closest we have ever been to voting on our Proposed New Library Project, it is critical that everyone interested in this project show up! The Town Meeting will determine if the Library Project goes to referendum on February 27th.
