Girl Scouts of Connecticut to Host Open House at Camp Candlewood

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is hosting an open house at Camp Candlewood in New Fairfield on Sunday, May 4 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The camp will be open for girls and families to attend and discover the exciting summer camp programs designed for all girls entering grades 1-12. The open house will allow families to tour the facilities, meet with the camp director and staff members, and learn about camp life.

The camp is located at 29 Bogus Hill Road in New Fairfield. Day campers at Candlewood can enjoy an 87 acre camp that includes extensive waterfront facilities, including two beaches, canoeing, sailing, and funyaking. The waterfront is staffed by American Red Cross lifeguards and water safety instructors.
