Spots Available for Brookfield Craft Center's Youth Hands on Art Program

Our summer youth program "Hands on Art" is in full swing!  The first week was amazing with classes in the Forge, Glass, Wood and Pottery studios!  Here are just few pictures from the classes.

It's great to see the kids having so much fun!  There are still spots available in our 3rd and 4th weeks morning and afternoon sessions of the program.  The weeks of August 8th and August 22nd.

You know how much fun the kids are having in our Summer Youth program, Hands on Art!

We have two more weeks of the program, August 8 - 12, and August 22 - 26.  There are still open spots in many of our program offerings and I want to fully utilize the subsidy we got from the Give Back Brands Foundation.  Toward that end, we are going to implement some of the ideas we got from our parent partners!
  1. We will have a "Lunch Bunch" session for those who will be participating for both morning and afternoon sessions.  This will be in our River Room and be monitored by two of our assistants.  Children should bring their own lunches.  The cost for this is $30 for the week per student.  If interested call the registrar, Deb Cooper at 203 775-4526.
  2. Bring a friend.  If you are registering for two or more children for the same class, each student's registration will receive a discount of $50.  If you are already registered and add a second or third child, the discount will be applied retroactively to your existing registration.
  3. Scholarships are still available as well.  If interested please click here and submit your request.
Special news:  The kids, and the teacher, had so much fun that we have added a session on woodturning! Click here to register.
