Rep. David Scribner Rallies Support for Bethel High School Senior Nominated to Win $5,000 Equipment Donation for School

BETHEL – Rep. David Scribner (R-107) today applauded Bethel High School student athlete, Brendan MacIntyre, for his nomination to win a $5,000 equipment donation for the school.

Brendan has been chosen as a candidate for USA Football’s “Heart of A Giant” award presented by the Hospital for Special Surgery program. Nominated athletes have been selected from football players around the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, and CT) for their continuous display of commitment, determination, will, character and teamwork as part of their high school teams.

“Anyone who reads Brendan’s nomination ballot will see that he is a smart, dedicated, and strong-willed individual,” said Rep. Scribner. “His effort to win this equipment for the school is remarkable and enormously appreciated. A donation such as this would provide students with an active, healthy outlet to relieve stress and build energy needed to excel in class. I congratulate Brendan and wish him the best of luck!”

Brendan needs your support and votes to become one of the six finalists to contend for the much-needed equipment. Please spread the word and visit http://www.usafootball.com/heartofagiant and click on the “Week 5” tab to vote for Brendan by December 7th!
