Brookfield Democratic Town Committee To Host Get Involved Open House on March 7

Show up. Dive in. Persevere: Brookfield Democratic Town Committee To Host “Get Involved” Open House

The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee (BDTC) will hold a “Get Involved” open house on Tuesday, March 7th from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The event, which will be held at Hacienda Don Manuel, 265 Federal Road, will help residents learn how they can make a difference in Brookfield.

During the family friendly event, community members will hear about the many ways you can make a change or create the government you want in Brookfield by volunteering or running for office. Residents are invited to stop by any time between 7 P.M. and 9 P.M. Chips, salsa, guacamole, and appetizers will be provided. Cash bar.

Current and former town board and commission members will be on hand to talk directly with individuals about their experiences in public service and running for office. There will also be printed information available.

“In 2015, Brookfield’s Democratic ticket achieved unprecedented success as we elected qualified and dedicated residents to our town boards. Whether you are interested in working behind the scenes or want to serve on the front line on a town board, the BDTC has volunteer opportunities for everyone,” said Christine Hand, Vacancy Chair for the Brookfield Democratic Town Committee. “We are looking for help to continue moving our town in a positive direction and our ‘Get Involved’ open house is a great opportunity to meet like-minded residents while learning more about how to get involved. We encourage residents to bring their family and friends for a fun night out to discover how they can lend their talents to our wonderful town.”

The event is free and open to the public. To RSVP (not necessary but appreciated) or to get more information about opportunities to get involved and make a difference, email us at volunteer@brookfielddemocrats.org.

The mission of the Brookfield Democrats is to create a positive vision for Brookfield’s future that preserves the vibrancy of Brookfield and enhances opportunities for all residents. Visit www.brookfieldemocrats.org to learn more.
