Brookfiled Bobcat Sightings: More Than Just a Mascot

There is a reason our High School football mascot is a Bobcat!

A photo of this Bobcat was sent to us from a resident that lives on Iron Work.

Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police reminds us that Bobcats rarely cause conflicts with human activities. Infrequently, they kill livestock, especially fowl, and attack domestic cats. Conflicts are addressed on an individual basis and can often be remedied by preventive methods, such as fencing.
