James (Jay) Purcell named as the Town of Brookfield's next Chief of Police
At a special meeting held on December 5, the Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to endorse the Police Commission's recommendation to appoint James (Jay) Purcell as the Town of Brookfield's next Chief of Police beginning January 1, 2017.
We congratulate Jay and know he will do an outstanding job in continuing the Police Department’s mission to provide our community with the finest public safety services in an ethical, professional, and sensitive manner.
It is with the greatest amount of appreciation and gratitude that we honor Chief Robin Montgomery for serving the Brookfield Police Department and Brookfield community with dedication and integrity for over sixteen years. We wish him a healthy and happy retirement.
