Breast Cancer Alliance Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Past Presidents of the Breast Cancer Alliance invite you to Celebrate 20 years of survivorship and accomplishments Saturday, April 9, 2016

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Breast Cancer Alliance will honor the dedicated board members and legions of volunteers who so generously supported the organization’s mission over the past two decades. Twenty luncheon and fashion shows, numerous walks, golf outings, boutiques and other successful fundraising events are the direct result of their tireless creativity, commitment and energy.

Grounded in the medical community that has treated breast cancer patients, educated us about the disease and treatments, and advised BCA on our grant applicants, the organization also honors the impressive researchers and service providers to breast cancer patients funded by BCA.

Although breast cancer is still a leading cause of death in women, there is much more survivorship to celebrate. With increased screening leading to earlier diagnosis and treatment, more women are surviving breast cancer for longer with a better quality of life. Breast Cancer Alliance is proud of the $22 million in grants they have funded that have contributed to this progress.
