Wendy Wax discusses her novel, 'While We Were Watching Downton Abbey' at The Drawing Room

Wendy Wax will discuss her latest novel, 'While We Were Watching Downton Abbey', written about fans of the show on Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 at The Drawing Room

 

To coincide with the season 5 premiere of Downton Abbey on PBS, JCC Greenwich will present a conversation with author Wendy Wax, who will discuss her novel, While We Were Watching Downton Abbey, a story about three strangers and the British concierge of their Atlanta high-rise, who meet and bond through weekly Downton Abbey viewing parties. The program will take place on Wednesday, January 7 at 10am at The Drawing Room in Cos Cob. Books will be available for purchase and signing. 

Wendy Wax is a national bestselling author of women’s fiction, including The House On Mermaid PointOcean Beach and Ten Beach Road. Wax says, "I've enjoyed a lot of TV programs in my day, but Downton Abbey is the first one that inspired me to write a novel." The book has been back to press seven times, appeared on major retailer bestseller lists, and was nominated for eBook of the Year by U.K. e-retailer Sainsbury.
