Wendy Wax will discuss her latest novel, 'While We Were Watching Downton Abbey', written about fans of the show on Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 at The Drawing Room
To coincide with the season 5 premiere of Downton Abbey on PBS, JCC Greenwich will present a conversation with author Wendy Wax, who will discuss her novel, While We Were Watching Downton Abbey, a story about three strangers and the British concierge of their Atlanta high-rise, who meet and bond through weekly Downton Abbey viewing parties. The program will take place on Wednesday, January 7 at 10am at The Drawing Room in Cos Cob. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Wendy Wax is a national bestselling author of women’s fiction, including The House On Mermaid Point, Ocean Beach and Ten Beach Road. Wax says, "I've enjoyed a lot of TV programs in my day, but Downton Abbey is the first one that inspired me to write a novel." The book has been back to press seven times, appeared on major retailer bestseller lists, and was nominated for eBook of the Year by U.K. e-retailer Sainsbury.
