All welcome at Tent Weekend in Greenwich

 On Friday, June 2, Second Congregational Church kicks off our Annual Tent Weekend with a spirited performance by the Greenwich High School Jazz Band at 6:00 p.m. under a tent on Mead House Lawn, at the heart of our church campus on the corner of Putnam and Maple. Ample parking is available. All are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a nice evening of music and fellowship.

Saturday, June 3 Act II Consignment Boutique is starting their “end of season” Tent Sale starting at 10:00 a.m. under the tent and inside Mead House. Please also join us in the evening starting at 8:00 p.m. fora performance by the local 50’s and 60’s rock cover band “King’s Highway”.  Please feel free to bring a picnic or enjoy some tasty Mexican food from the El Placeri taco truck, which will be parked nearby exclusively for our event starting at 7:00 p.m. During the performance, we will be showing a movie in our Chapel for the younger crowd while parents are invited to enjoy the band under the tent.

Sunday, June 4 begins with a positive, informal worship, featuring jazz under the tent at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Potluck-style BBQ featuring burgers, hot dogs, etc. All food is provided by our church family. There will be a bouncy castle, face painting and ice cream for kids.
