Greenwich Fall Baseball Registration is Now Open

FALL BALL REGISTRATION

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the Fall Baseball Clinics will begin on July 14th. Registration is open online only for Greenwich residents from July 14th through July 29th. To register online go to www.greenwichct.org/webtrac.  Mail-in registration will begin on Friday, July 29th and applications should not be postmarked earlier than the 29th. In-person registration at the Parks and Recreation Office begins on Monday, August 15th. Non-residents may sign-up starting August 15th. Registration closes on Friday, August 26th or when the program is filled. Space is limited and registration is first come, first serve. 

The fall baseball clinics are offered to boys ages 8 through 12. Experienced instruction is provided in 8 sessions, outdoors on local Greenwich fields.  Participants must have turned 8 and not have turned 13 by September 7th, 2016. The clinics will be organized into two age groups: 8 & 9 year olds and 10 – 12 year olds. Instruction focuses on player pitching and catching, field positioning and strategy, fundamentals, batting, and game situations. More advanced skill work is provided for the 10 – 12 year olds as well as preparation for those players looking to move up to travel ball, Jr. Babe Ruth, or other advanced leagues.
