Kids love to bring Valentine's Cards to their classmates. This year why not try something really different and educational at the MakerBot Store on Greenwich Ave.
On Saturday, January 11 kids aged 8-15 can learn how to create their very own 3D Valentine's Day Cards, in a hands-on, fun-filled workshop conducted by a MakerBot Instructor. Students will be guided through the process of creating then printing their cards on a Makerbot® Replicator® 2 Desktop 3D Printer. Using Tinkercad, an easy-to-use 3D design software, they'll learn how to manipulate basic shapes, symbols and text. Kids will leave the class with a 3D print and a whole new way to learn.
Participation is only $25 per child. Register in advance.
