The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 in Ridgefield and Danbury from Route 35 to the beginning of the Divided Highway.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 6.90 segment of Route 7 in Ridgefield and Danbury. The milling of this project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, and end on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 19, 2024, and end on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorists can expect delays and one-lane alternating Traffic.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
