Byrd's Books in Bethel Participating in Nationanwide Food Drive Inspired by "Crenshaw"

Throughout the month of October, Macmillan Children's Publishing Group is partnering with independent bookstores to host a nationwide food drive to raise awareness of childhood hunger. Inspired by "Crenshaw," a new middle grade novel by Newbery Medalist Katherine Applegate, bookstores are teaming up with food pantries to collect items for children in need. 

 

Byrd's Books will collect nonperishable food items during the month of October to help children in need through the efforts of Brotherhood-In-Action. Look for collection boxes in the store.
