The Ridgefield Playhouse shows its support for Ann’s Place with Fashion for a Cause on April 20

The Ridgefield Playhouse and HamletHub Whole New You Series are getting ready for a night of fashion and fun!

Haute couture has never been more inspired than when paired with a cause such as Ann’s Place.  The Ridgefield Playhouse, a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer the Performing Arts and make it accessible to everyone, has been instrumental in helping raise funds for other area non-profits through their very successful fashion shows.  This is just one of the ways they show their support.  Through the Arts for Everyone outreach program, The Ridgefield Playhouse helps low-income children and families in surrounding towns receive tickets for free – often donating tickets to other non-profits so that they can expose families to the arts who would otherwise not have the chance.

On Thursday, April 20, The Ridgefield Playhouse transforms into a design house where local celebrity models strut their stuff in fashion forward clothing and accessories from Audrey Road and AR Kids!  “Celebrity” models include:  Anna O’Rourke, Megan Searfoss, Dawn Grabover, Kim Bishop, PJ James, Trish Shantz, Maddie Blake, Christine Wohl, Jen Conciatore, Jennifer Manganiello, Anne Stauff, Shannon and Lyla Stubbe, Riley and Brooke Blake, Zoe Garbus, Brooke Manganiello, Mia and Annalisa Verrilli, Julia Signorelli, Jillian Rae.   The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with shopping in the lobby, a signature cocktail by Campari and more! The fashion show starts at 7:30 p.m. with new and vintage fashions, jewelry and accessories to brighten your spring wardrobe and take you into summer – all while supporting a great cause! Bring your friends and make it a great girls’ night out!  Fun and fashionable attire for girls and boys age 2 through 14, will also be showcased by AR Kids!  This event is partially underwritten by Reliance Merchant Services, Elements Massage with support from Campari and WHIP Salon.

Proceeds benefit Ann’s Place, a nonprofit agency located on the Danbury/Ridgefield border that serves over 800 clients – men, women, and children – from CT and nearby NY. All services are provided free of charge to clients. Ann’s Place depends upon the generosity of the philanthropic community to fund these services.
