What could be better than great live music? Great live music for a great cause!
A Sing-a-Thon showcasing top local talent will take place on Saturday, May 13, to benefit the Bethel Community Food Pantry (BCFP).
Individuals and groups, from kids to adults, will perform at historic St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Audience members may come and go any time between songs.
Sing-a-Thon admission is free, and only monetary donations -- cash and checks payable to Bethel Community Food Pantry-- will be received at the door. BCFP is an all-volunteer, non-profit providing food, paper goods and toiletries to Bethel residents in need.
“Your Sing-a-thon contribution of just $10 will allow the pantry to stock the shelves with staples like nearly 200 pounds of rice, ten jars of spaghetti sauce, or a case of canned fruits and vegetables,” BCFP president Steve Deuschle said.
