Concert Benefiting Hurricane Victims to Take Place at Litchfield Crossings

“The Sound of Love” Fundraising event featuring live music, benefiting victims of the recent hurricanes will take place October 21st, 2017, with a rain date of November 4th. The admission-free event will also accommodate free parking. Festivities begin at noon at the Litchfield Crossings, 169 Danbury Rd. New Milford, CT. 06776. The event is catered by Kathy’s Kitchen Catering and Events LLC.

Guests are welcomed to bring a blanket/lawn chair, while enjoying great music from “Come Hear the Sound” music group and others. The event will feature free helium balloons and bubble stuff for the kids attending. Additionally, there will be an assortment of items available for sale, such as artwork, frames and canvases, Handcrafted jewelry metal crafts handmade furniture and clothing with all proceeds benefiting the victims as well.

“The recent natural disasters have triggered a deep sense of urgency within our hearts, we were inspired to take action and the Sound of Love was created.” Says Doreen Amor, organizer of the event. Come enjoy the event, while joining a cause for the better. Proceeds will be distributed through the Red Cross and Samaritans Pocket.
