Danbury Youth Services will host its 3rd Annual Spin-a-Thon fundraiser on Saturday

Danbury Youth Services will host its 3rd Annual Spin-a-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, April 29 at S.E.T. Gym in Danbury.

The event will run from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., with five one-hour sessions led by spin instructors
John Mattio and Tonya Felton. Each session has its own theme and set of challenges.

The schedule is as follows:

7 a.m.–8 a.m.         Rock of Ages with John

8 a.m.–9 a.m.         Alpe d'Huez Climb with John

9 a.m.–10 a.m.    Michael Jackson Ride with Tonya

10 a.m.–11 a.m.    Pop*Star Ride with Tonya

11 a.m.–12 p.m.    Paced Teammate Ride with John

Participants may choose to take part in as many sessions as they'd like, with a minimum donation of $25 per session. All proceeds will support DYS programs for at-risk youth in the Greater Danbury area.

Healthy refreshments will be provided for participants, and chair massages will be available. There will also be a raffle of a gift card for a personal fitting and outfit selection from lululemon.

Online registration is available at www.danburyyouthservices.org. Participants are encouraged to register in advance, although they may also sign up at the door.

The DYS Spin-a-Thon is generously sponsored by Praxair, with additional support from Wells Fargo, Cartus, Snyder Civil Engineering, Lamnia International and S.E.T. Gym.

Danbury Youth Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency designated as the Youth Services Bureau for the City of Danbury. The agency offers after-school programs, one-on-one mentoring, youth employment services, and a licensed psychiatric clinic. Its mission is to strengthen youth and families by fostering hope and teaching the skills necessary to lead a positive and productive life.
