Early Childhood Fair in Danbury on February 20

Off to a great start!

Families can spend a fun, free day with their children while learning about early learning opportunities and family support services

On Saturday, February 20, 2016 Danbury’s Promise for Children Partnership is sponsoring an early childhood fair, Off to a Great Start! This event is FREE and open to the public for parents of young children. You’ll be able to gather information on preschools, programs and services for families, and other learning opportunities for young children.

The Off to a Great Start! Early Childhood Fair will be held at Rogers Park Middle School, 21 Memorial Drive, Danbury, CT from 11 am to 2 pm.

Fun, free entertainment will be provided by Acting Out, offering interactive story telling for children, and Animal Embassy, providing children of all ages opportunities to come face to face with animals. Face painters from Escape to the Arts will be there, and fun arts and crafts activities will also be offered. The first 100 families to attend will receive a free goodie bag.

Childcare providers and nonprofit agencies can register for a free display table at the event by emailing Elizabeth Quiñonez at Elizabeth.quinonez@uwwesternct.org.
