Voting Technology and Improving Our Democracy is Subject of Danbury Area Computer Society Meeting on October 4

Dr. John Patrick, former director at Western Connecticut Health Network, and author of several books on technology and healthcare, will speak on voting technology on Tuesday, October 4 at Danbury Hospital.

In his new book Election Attitude - How Internet Voting Leads to a Stronger Democracy, John explores how we register and vote in the United States, and how this system can be modernized and made more convenient, while maintaining Internet security and voting verifiability.

Danbury Area Computer Society (DACS) General Meetings are free and open to the public. Members and prior attendees are encouraged to extend invitations to anyone interested in this topic.

General meetings are held at Danbury Hospital, in the Creasy Auditorium. There is plenty of free parking in the guest parking garage adjacent to the auditorium. (Go to www.dacs.org to find directions and parking information).
