The Danbury Library will host a presentation on "How to Pay for College" on Wednesday, October 18 from 5:45-6:45pm.
Tim Miller from Valark Financial Services will talk about college funding options and strategies for parents and students. Among the topics to be discussed are: The realities of paying for college and how to do it without bankrupting your retirement, tips for applying for financial aid; the most effect way to save and invest for college, the best loans in today's economy and the types to avoid, how to negotiate a financial aid package, and the top myths about who qualifies for financial aid.
