Danbury Library welcomes renowned Arctic expert for special presentation

The origins of Santa Claus will come to life at the Danbury Library on Wednesday, December 6 at 5:30 p.m. with a free presentation by Moki Kokoris, an environmental advocate, part-time explorer/adventurer, and 14th woman (1st of Ukrainian descent) to reach the Geographic North Pole.

This program will feature little-known facts about Santa’s “flying" reindeer, Rudolph’s red nose, and other amusing trivia that are associated with the holiday tradition. There will also be opportunities to touch and feel artifacts from the North Pole!

The program is free and open to children, teens, and adults.  Registration is required online at danburylibrary.org, click on “Visit” or call 203.797.4505, option 3.
