White House to Live Stream Event Featuring Val Jensen & Prospects TODAY

White House to Host Convening on Americans with Disabilities and the Arts: A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion

On Wednesday, November 18, the White House will host a panel discussion on employing adults with disabilities in the arts and entertainment industry. This event, part of the 25th anniversary year of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), will highlight opportunities and innovative practices for Americans with disabilities to be employed contributing members of society.

Valerie Jensen, the visionary and founder of the Prospector Theater, will be attending – along with fellow Prospects – to talk about the adaptive and creative practices the Theater uses for it’s job training and employment program. Other participants include Cecilia Muñoz (Assistant to the President and Director of the Domestic Policy Council) and Greg Renier (Director of Theater, National Endowment for the Arts).

The event will be live-streamed today at approximately 4:30 pm HERE.
